Marion began her fashion career in 2015 when she began taking pattern making classes at Apparel Arts Productions in Oakland, CA. After four years of technical learning, she joined the maker's movement by introducing her made-to-order brand, BLACK BORDERS, which was featured in the East Bay monthly publication Oakland Magazine.

In 2021 she moved to Atlanta, GA, where she joined the Herbin Co. team, fulfilling her interest in building community between coasts and carving out space for creatives of color in the sustainable fashion industry.

For the Maison Collection, Marion was inspired by connecting the regularity of getting dressed with the coveted nature of luxury, building designs that are functional, flexible, and of the finest quality. All designs are cut and sewn in Atlanta, GA.
